•  Donor Families Support Services
DNA’s general vision statement expresses that “we are a quality culture dedicated to donors and their families.” That statement also means that we are concerned with the aftercare of our donor families. Although we ourselves are not a counseling agency, we are often able to help people find the kind of assistance they need. In the past, people have asked us for information on grief support groups, counseling agencies, bereavement literature, even Internet web sites.

The Family Services Department of DNA is here to provide guidance and direction to donor families. In this section of our home page, you will be able to find words and resources that may be helpful to you. There are thoughts about coping with grief, guidelines on donor family and recipient communication, book resources, and suggested Internet Web Sites that deal specifically with grief and loss.
