My wife, received a male (juvenile) kidney in Tucson, Arizona, in the summer of 1995. And since that time she has been a successful recipient until 2014 (14 years from a deceased donor kidney) and is living a successful, good life with us. She is now due for another deceased donor kidney and remains on a hemodialysis machine. God Bless the anonymous soul, the decedent and his family members who had to make this difficult choice at a critical juncture in both death and life.
