Karen registered to donate all of what she could at the age of 16. She passed away at 18, and was able to save the lives of at least five people by being a donor.
Not only did she register herself, she also motivated others to register as well. She helped many of her peers register and in admiration of her decisions, we will continue to register more donors in honor of Karen Hernandez, a great hero.
