Gloria Lafern Barnes, Donor Family

My granddaughter, Britni Lynn Glover, was born without a gallbladder. This caused her liver to become diseased. She had two liver transplants. Without a special person donating a liver of a loved one, Britini would not have had a chance to live. She was 2 years old at the time of the transplant. Because the first liver was no good, it took a few days to find another liver donor. Her little body could not take the two surgeries. After the second liver was placed in her body, it was too late. She lived six weeks before she went to Heaven.

I would like to recommend to everyone to be an organ donor and give someone the “Chance of Life”. It is the greatest gift you can give, after your life here on earth is over. Thank you to the state driver’s license bureau (Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division), for allowing people to be an organ donor on their driver’s license.
