My dad passed away suddenly in January 2007. My dad was amazing and would have given you the shirt off his back. He always offered to lend a hand to help, no matter who it was. When he passed, part of me went with him. He was a great father. After his passing, my mom decided to donate whatever organs that were saveable. My father went on to save two people’s lives through his donation. We don’t know who they are but we are so grateful he was able to help two people. That was something he’d be proud of. My mom has since passed as well. I take comfort in knowing they are together. My daddy was my hero and my best friend.
