My husband, Alan Bornstein, died unexpectedly in July 2018, at the age of 53. He was a physician who devoted his life and career to caring for others, so it made sense to our family to donate his tissue, tendons and corneas to Donate Life. Alan was beloved by his daughters, parents, siblings, colleagues and friends. We are comforted to know that he continued helping others, even after his death.
