In September 2006, my mother, Maribel Cross, received a double lung transplant after suffering from chronic pulmonary fibrosis for a number of years. Sadly, after battling the last six years to live her life as normal as possible, she passed away on Christmas Day 2012. We love you and miss you everyday momma.
